About Us:

Nyansapo AI is a social enterprise committed to developing AI-powered tools and resources for organizations, schools and teachers to teach foundational literacy and numeracy to the learning levels of children. We are a dynamic team seeking an experienced Web Developer for a short-term consultancy role that could lead to full-time employment in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to manage and updatethe Nyansapo AI website and school management platform, which are built with Next.js
• Create documentation for the Nyansapo AI website and school management platform source code
• Work with the Communications team to manage content and communications on the Nyansapo AI website
• Ensure smooth deployment using Vercel and AWS.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure all systems are running smoothly including the database, backend, website, school management platform, and android applications.
• Engage with customers in-person to incorporate feedback into the Nyansapo AI website and web management platform

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Next.js and building web applications.
• Proficiency in Sanity.io for content management.
• Strong understanding of Node.js for backend applications
• Familiarity with Vercel and AWS for deployment.
• Experience with using Github for project management
• Must have experience with docker containers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Duration: Short-term consultancy position.
